Making Weaver strips
I took a ferry to Craig to learn the art of Cedar Weaving from Deborah. She showed me her cedar collection and explained her aging process, which takes several years. I used the Jerry rig to make weaving strips, and she taught me two different weaves: Tlingit and Haida(year ago from the workshop). Through this apprenticeship, my project is to create a handwoven Cedar Hat, which I am excited about!
